August and the 60th Annual NHADA Antiques Show have come and gone; the show was stunning and show attendance set an all time high for the NHADA event. Thank you to everyone involved with the show: volunteers, show management staff, exhibiting dealers, Govenor Sununu and longtime NHADA member dealer Howard Oedel (96!) for the official ribbon cutting, and most of all, to all who visited the show, shopped, and found wonderful antiques to add to collections or the perfect piece for a special spot in your home. Additionally, congratulations to Nancy Kramer of Hampton, Iowa, the winner of the 2017 NHADA Annual Raffle, a $250 Gift Certificate.

On September 9th, friends gathered, and surprised, Fern Eldridge, to celebrate her 90th birthday! Fern began her antiquing career at the age of 8 when her father took her along on his travels to find antiques, and she never stopped looking for the classic country items that she loves. Fern is still active today as the owner of Fern Eldridge and Friends, a group shop on Route 4 in Northwood, New Hampshire. While Vicky, Bill, and others assist customers during the week, you will find Fern there on most weekends greeting and assisting buyers. Happy Birthday Fern!
