The New Hampshire Antiques Dealer Association’s presentation of our “Spring In New Hampshire” Antiques Show in Durham, NH, is just around the corner. The indoor venue will be packed with 76 dealers (all NHADA members!) and will be held Sunday, April 15th, at the Whittemore Center, on the campus of the University of New Hampshire. There is a great buzz and excitement about this show and the quality of dealers who will be participating. Show manager Nan Gurley has pulled out all the stops to make this a wonderful event. (She has even arranged for a trolley to ferry attendees from the parking areas to the arena.) On top of this, we are offering a two-for-one coupon to anyone who signs up for our electronic mailing list, so bring a friend and save. Just sign up on our home page by April 1st to have this coupon emailed to you. For additional information, visit the show page or contact Nan at nangurley@roadrunner.com.
The slate for the 55th annual New Hampshire Antiques Dealer Show has been set. John & Deborah Melby Antiques of Eastport, ME, will be taking a leave of absence this year, and Carole Hayward of The Yankee Smuggler Antiques of Keene, NH, will be retiring after many, many years of show and past NHADA board participation. NHADA wishes Carole the best in some well-deserved time off, and looks forward to the return of the Melbys next year.
With two spaces coming open, we are pleased to announce two new dealers to the show: Jonathan Trace of Portsmouth, NH, and Nancy & Gene Pratt of Pratts Antiques in Victor, NY. Scheduled for August 9-11, 2012, the premier show of Antiques Week in New Hampshire continues to draw praises for its quality and freshness of merchandise. No doubt that this year’s exhibitors will continue this tradition. More to come as the date approaches.
The New Hampshire Antiques Dealer Association is pleased to welcome new member John and Elizabeth DeSimone, of Wells, ME. For information on becoming a member, click here.
