Now in his 30th year of business, Jeff is a both dealer and a serious collector of 19th century paint-decorated American folk art, furniture, and textiles. He is widely considered to be the leading authority in the field of antique American flags and political banners. Based in York County, Pennsylvania, he stocks over 2,500 examples that trace the history of our country. For more than 20 years he has also operated a textile conservation and framing studio, where he and his expert staff have mounted and framed thousands of flags and related objects.
In addition to being the foremost buyer and seller of this material, Jeff curates large museum exhibitions. One of these, entitled “Flags & Founding Documents,” will be under way at the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia this summer, from June 12th – September 11th, 2021. He has been a frequent guest on Fox & Friends, appeared in the documentary series “Art of America,” and has been featured in a long list of publications. He has performed museum appraisals that include some of the nation’s most precious objects, among these George Washington’s personal flag and the only surviving flag thought to have been made by Betsy Ross.
Jeff’s love for patriotism and early American antiques have led to a life-long pursuit of the most colorful, rare, and magnificent examples. He is both honored and thrilled to join the list of exceptional dealers at the NHADA Show.
