NHADA Member Barbara Johnson, Pewter & Wood Antiques, asked that I help get the word out about Pewter & Wood Antiques 11th Annual Alzheimer’s Silent Auction Benefit to be held at her Cave Creek, Arizona shop on Saturday, March 18th. All items are donated to the auction by collectors, antique dealers and friends of Pewter & Wood from around the country. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive letters from Alzheimer”s Association Desert Southwest for use on 2017 tax returns.
Photographs and descriptions of every item will be posted in the Alzheimer’s Auction Catalogue on Pewter & Wood’s website, www.pewterandwoodantiques.com, March 10th. Bids can be emailed to Pewter & Wood: info@pewterandwoodantiques.com by March 17th or called in ahead and during the auction on March 18th ( 12:30-1:30 mountain time). (602) 677-5686. There are no buyers fees or premiums! All payments are made by check to: Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest, memo line: “Research”. And be mailed to Pewter & Wood. One hundred percent of the money goes towards Alzheimer’s research!!!
Last year’s auction realized $10,075 !! This year their goal is to raise $12,000 and they need your help. Please consider making a donation of an antique that needs a new home. NHADA welcomes three new members this month. They include The Quince and Quail, Maxwell S. Corbett and Anthony Adamsky, who specialize in textiles, rugs, clothing, architectural, folk art, lighting, industrial, and 20th century and have an open shop in downtown Plymouth, New Hampshire.

And, David and Jane Thompson of David Thompson Antiques and Art, South Dennis,Massachusetts, specializing in americana, historical items, including photography, civil war, antiquarian books, maps, prints, native american, holiday, and nautical items.
