Welcome to the NHADA Website!

The New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Association is the largest antiques organization of its kind. Members of this non-profit organization are dedicated to integrity and courtesy in their business dealings and to an awareness and appreciation of articles of antique value.

ABOUT US …

The NHADA began with a small group of dealers who met at the Long Meadow Inn in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the early 1950's. The aim of the group was to establish a code of ethics and to promote the businesses of local New Hampshire shops. Dues were five dollars. Today the association has over 300 members, including 156 members located out of state. The NHADA distributes 80,000 printed directories available free of charge, and provides this website to enable you to pursue your quest for antiques and collectibles. We encourage you to visit New Hampshire, a great and historic place to antique, enjoy a relaxing vacation, and contact our members via telephone or on line. Perhaps one of our out-of-state members lives near you! The Cover design is a reproduction of The sign board from Walker's Tavern a famous house of entertainment in Charlestown, New Hampshire. It bears a beehive and bees.

The motto was:

"Here in this hive we're all alive,
Good liquor makes us funny.
If you are dry, step in and try
The flavor of our honey."
